Please join us for a FREE Educational College Scholarship and Financial Aid workshop for the parents of college-bound high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. We’ll discuss the financial aid eligibility formula and other information you need to know now that will help your child receive the maximum amount of grants, scholarships, and financial aid for college. Learn how families who thought they could never qualify for financial aid based on their high income or high assets can become eligible for aid. Understand cost-effective options to fund college, and how to avoid costly pitfalls without putting a strain on your retirement and the rest of your family finances.
What you will learn:
Why the vast majority of families disqualify themselves and miss out on financial aid.
The different formulas schools use to determine your level of financial need.
Tax strategies that can help to reduce the net cost of funding college.
Why state colleges don’t always cost less than private colleges
The difference between types of student loans and the post-graduation ramifications of using loans.
How to lower your out-of-pocket costs to maximize grants from each university and how colleges assess your retirement, investment, savings, home, and rental assets when determining financial aid.
How waiting for your child’s senior year of high school to begin looking at colleges and college funding options may be too late. Learn what steps you can take throughout their high school career to help them in their college search.
Why at least 80% of financial forms submitted by parents/students have financial and technical mistakes that cost the family acceptances in colleges and lost financial aid.
